For musicians, a solo is the truest form of expression and "voice" one can display. Our Organic Solo is single cultivar matcha and is only picked at the very beginning of the "first flush" harvest!
The leaves are picked once a year from the ends of the tea tree branches after being shade-grown for three weeks! After all of the stems and veins have been removed, the tencha is stone ground into our very own Organic Solo matcha.
Organic ceremonial grade matcha is the highest level matcha you can buy.
Bright green in color, and smooth in flavor with no bitterness this is matcha fit for the purist and is incredible when mixed traditionally with just water.
It creates a wonderful, creamy froth when whisked properly.
